5. Why can’t I vote for Vice President Further Education/Higher Education?

Only delegates from FE institutions can vote for Vice President Further Education. Only delegates from HE institutions can vote for Vice President Higher Education. Therefore you will only be able to vote for one of these positions, depending on your institution.

If your institution offers both HE and FE courses your vote will be based on the course you are enrolled on/your representative position in the Union. This is based off the information provided at registration. If you are not able to vote in the correct election (e.g. you are an FE voter and only given option for HE) please email membership@nus.org.uk. Please note however that we cannot make changes if you have already cast your vote.

6. How can I debate and chat with other delegates from different Student Unions?

We are encouraging delegates to create their own Skype conversations to discuss and debate key issues. Please follow the hashtag #NUSNC2020 to engage in conversations, and use the Participation Guide for more information.
