Piers Telemacque has been elected NUS vice-president for society and citizenship

Piers Telemacque has been elected vice-president society and citizenship.

Telemacque, from Bradford College, has previously been involved with both the NUS FE Zone and Black Students’ Campaign and is the first delegate from further education to be elected as a vice-president for the society and citizenship portfolio.

Telemacque contested Hugh Murdoch, and Sky Yarlett in the election, receiving 383 votes against Murdoch’s 149 and Sky’s 190. Re-Open Nominations received 3 votes.
